It's important to get the full picture whenever we can, including when it comes to our understanding of the Runes.

A little project I've been working on . Not quite finished yet but it's totally getting there. I found this in my friends pile of old stuff from a house clean up. Just had to get. What a total awesome find.

PEORTH /PERTHO or PERTH: I am curious to hear from other Runecraft practitioners regarding the Peorth Rune. It has been stated that the 14th Rune (6th of the 2nd Aett) of the Futhark is one of the more mysterious in it's symbolism. Some claim it is a Dice Cup, others that it is a Cauldron on its side. One of the best descriptions was given by Ravenswing Grimmson, that is as an "opened Berkana (Beorc, Rune 18, 2nd of the 3rd Aett). I think there is a truth here; I have always felt, instinctively, that Peorth points to the Female "Mysteries." I don't know if we'll ever reach consensus, but I'd certainly like to hear your interpretation.
