Join two of New Zealand's top landscape photographers; Richard Young and Rob Brown, on a 4 day autumn colors and landscape photography workshop in the stunning location of Mt Cook National Park.
6th-9th May 2016
On this workshop you will spend 4 days photographing in the awe -inspiring location of Mt Cook National Park with both Richard Young and landscape photographer Rob Brown (depending on numbers). We have set the date of this workshop to hopefully capture the perfect autumn colors around Mt Cook as well as the amazing alpine scenery of New Zealand's highest peak. Over the workshop, you will learn to shoot a diverse range of subject matters including: autumn landscapes, mountains, glaciers, macro and nature photography and the nights sky. You will have the chance to shoot from sunrise to sunset, in a variety of locations in and around the park, from views of Mt Cook from the Hooker and Tasman Valleys to the autumn colors around Lake Pukaki. During our time at Mt Cook you will also have the chance (at additional cost) to explore the terminal moraine lake of the Tasman Glacier by boat, with fantastic photographic opportunities as we navigate between huge dripping ice-faces and iceberg formations. Mt Cook has amazing clear skies with no light pollution, offering the chance to photograph the Milky Way above the Southern Alps.

The story of our life , is one of a journey.

And like any journey it has.....
A Beginning , Middle and of course an End!!

Like any journey through life we have happiness and sadness, ups and downs,
good times and bad.

And every journey has  a final destination.

When we reach it and  breath our last breath.....
We are left with two things

Memories of the life we have lived and hopes and dreams for those we are leaving behind.

"When I grow up I'm going to be a big pumpkin" Taken during my trip to the Howick Historic Village during the Classic Car show. If you haven't been then visit, great museum showcasing life in Auckland during the late 1800 to early 1900's

This is a merge of 5 separate images taken in unison across the fence line. My final digital composition is just short of 2metres wide and at 300dpi created a 1.2gig working file.  My PC handled it well :)

We have been patiently waiting for this one, and it is just around the corner!
Fujifilm XPRO2 - 56mm F1.2 APD, F4, 1/125s, ISO200 (Adobe Lightroom) The Fujifilm XPro2 has big shoes to fill. We started our journey partnered with Fujifilm behind the wheel of the XPro1 and have some very strong feelings associated with its unique character. When you commit to the Fujifilm XPro series you get more than just a camera, you get a partner and form a bond. It was a privilege to have had a sample copy so early. There is...
