Printing Problems with Windows
Problems with #MicrosoftWindows are a common scenario but till the time the problem does not bother us we do not care about it. But when it comes to printers you can’t live without them.  Some of the common scenarios with printers are listed here with their resolution. Hope this helps.
1. Printer does not print at all.
Cause:
a) The printer might have malfunctioned.
b) Driver is outdated or has malfunctioned.
c) There is no ink which means the cartridges are empty.
d) There could be a problem in communication between the printer and the computer.
Solution:
a) Check the cable connected between the computer and the printer. If is unplugged or loose you would need to fix it.
b) Check if the printer has power in it and is turned on.
c) Try to turn the printer on and off and see it starts working.
d) Check if the print cartridges are empty and required to be replaced or refilled.
e) Check if the printer is stuck with some print job and is unable to process further jobs.
f) Check if the printer has paper in it and is not stuck with the paper feeder.
g) Check the printer driver is the latest and as per the operating system installed on your computer. You can obtain the latest printer driver from the printer manufacturer website. The printer drivers are always free to download.
h) Check if the default printer is set correctly and the command being given is being sent correctly to the printer.
i) Also, try to take a test print from the printer to check if the printing device is functioning properly. This would ensure that there is no problem with the printing device rather the problem could be either the Windows or the computer.
j) Check if the printer is not set to work offline due to which the print jobs are stuck at the windows end.
k) You may also try to restart the computer to see if the problem gets fixed.
The above troubleshooting steps should resolve the issue however, if the problem still persists visit us at http://www.codeslab .com or mail us at info@codeslab.com with your mail id, name and phone number and the nature of problem you are facing. We would be happy to assist you.

Why is DNS important?
-DNS is like a phonebook for the internet. If a user enters a web address, the DNS will operate and the Ip address can be retieved of that domain name.
-Human readable web address is turned to Machine readable address when a user visits a domain.
-If a user enters a URL,this is directed to the DNS server, which will check its database and if it is not found,it will forward that URL to another DNS server.

Online backup services are combination software tools and subscription services that automatically keep what data you want protected on secure servers away from your home or business. In my opinion, an online backup service is the best and most cost effective long term solution to keeping your data safe.

---------------------------------------* SWITCH*-----------------------------------------------
A hardware computer networking device which binds or connects several computers on a single local area network(LAN).
It performs the processing of data on Data link layer(Layer 2 of OSI reference model) and at the same it forwards data packets from source all the way to the destination.
A good thing about switch is that it forwards data packet only to the destination which requested it.This is one benefit it has over Hub as Hub broadcast that message but Switch unicast that message to only a destination reducing netwok traffic.
A Switch is normally used seen in Corporate networks and it operates using a Virtual ciruit model.
A Switch is considered to be a higher performance alternate instead of a hub.
Multilayer Switch-
A switch which coordinates more than one layer of OSI model like the Data link and the Physical layers.A multilayer switch can be operated at more than one layer simultaneously.
