Hi everyone,
#edchatNZ  in partnership with Edge Work have just launched a free online course with the aim to develop capacity to discuss education futures in deeper, more complex ways, whilst taking on a more active, informed role in experimenting with future focussed change.

This is a great opportunity to engage in deeper discussion and challenge your thinking to a new level. It is also a great way to invite other colleagues into the discussion. It would be great to see some of the Edge Work network join in. You can sign up via the link provided.

Hope you join us!

"The engineers warned that potential loss of life from a sudden catastrophic collapse of the Mosul dam could be even greater than the 500,000 officially estimated, as they said many people could die in the resulting mass panic, with a 20-metre-high flood wave hitting the city of Mosul and then rolling on down the Tigris valley through Tikrit and Samarra to Baghdad." http://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/mar/02/mosul-dam-engineers-warn-it-could-fail-at-any-time-killing-1m-people
You know those 'real world problems' that we could get kids involved in solving ... well this has potential
