Psalms 27:4, 122, 126 Isaiah 62:1, 6-7; Zaccaria 8:3

Maimonides: I Believe With Perfect Faith

Jerusalem’s Temple pulsates in the heart of this Star of David. Inscribed in micro calligraphy, powerful words of Isaiah 62:1 ring out: “For the sake of Zion, I will not be still…I have set watchmen upon the walls… You make mention of the L-rd, take no rest and give Him not rest until He establishes and… He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth."These words of Isaiah are written 5 times representing the hand of the Holy One, Blessed be He, holding Jerusalem, His heart, in His palm. The Star of David glows in subtle shades of sunset and beautiful blues and purples, written with Psalms 122 and 126. Together, these Psalms are inscribed 18 times, which in gematria, Jewish numerology, means Life“Chai.” Jerusalem is the “center of the world” –the Temple Mount, Her heart.Psalms 122 “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love You shall enjoy serenity. Peace be within Your walls and serenity within Your palaces...I will wish that peace be with you…”May this wish of personal peace benefit all who join Israel in praying for the Peace of Jerusalem.Psalms 126 voices the hope of our ultimate return to Zion when our tears of sorrow will become tears of joy: “…Return, L-rd, our exiles like streams in the desert. Those who sow in tears will reap with joy…”Outlining the Star are 3 spiritual quotes:Zaccaria 8:3, written once, represents the power of the One and only G-d: "Thus says the L-rd; I have returned to Zion and will live in the midst of Jerusalem, City of Truth,…The Holy Mountain."Psalms 27:4 written once: "One thing I ask from the L-rd, …: That I may dwell in the House of the L-rd all the days of my life. To behold the pleasantness of the L-rd and meditate in His Temple."A verse from Maimonides Principles: “Ani Ma'amin:” “I Believe with perfect faith in the coming of the Messiah. And although he may tarry, I will wait daily for his coming.”- This verse written 4 times, represents the forth letter of the Hebrew alphabet: “daled” also pronounced as dalet=delet: door. May our continued faith open heaven’s doors. May the prayers for rebuilding Jerusalem be heard and answered soon in our days.

The strong proud Eagle is Isaiah 40 "Comfort , comfort my people."

Verses 1-30 of Isaiah 40 are written in micro calligraphy 13 times by Ellen Miller Braun to create these cliffs and valleys. This is because the letters that spell the word “love” in Hebrew – ahava – equal the number 13. This love echos G-d’s Love for His people. "Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain; and the glory of the L-rd shall be revealed…” G-d shows his love for Am Yisrael with miracles both revealed and hidden.

The last verse of Isaiah 30, verse 31, is written 208 times creating the majestic eagle. Again we see the emphasis placed on G-d’s love because the number 208 is divisible by 13,”ahava,” although it leaves a remainder of three. In Judaism, the number 3 represents strength. When written in Hebrew, the word Amen has 3 letters: Aleph, mem, nun. Both the number 3 in gematria and the 3 letter word “amen” stand for strength and permanence- which says “I believe” -“I have faith” that this shall come to pass: “…but they that wait upon the L-rd shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint.” Amen.
