Vegetable Pizza or Veg Pizza is very popular amongst all age people in my house – right from kids to my parent. Its my favorite. Before I learnt this recipe, I used to had this from outside at least once in every month. But with just 30 to 40 mins of fun in kitchen, you can make this delicious pizza.

In this recipe, I will explain how to make pizza base so that you don’t have to get it from market. I have used all purpose flour or maida to make pizza base. You can also use wheat to make the base. Sauce I used is also home made and is very easy to prepare.

Though I am not very fond of dal and avoid eating with rice or chapatis but when I first ate this moong dal ke pakode, I was amazed to see how dal can be used to make this delicious recipe. I got to learn this from my Wife and interestingly she had added Urad Dal to make this crispy. Definitely urad dal plays a role of silent hero in this recipe.To make this recipe, make sure to soak the moong dal and urad dal overnight for 5 hours. Moong dal ke pakode goes very well with tomato ketchup, chutney and hot tea.

I had a request to prepare vegan curd/yogurt from one of our viewers and hence preparing this recipe from scratch. Here we are using Chilli stems to form curd from the mylk. Mylk is the vegan milk i.e. milk formed by peanut, rice, soya bean, cachew and coconut. Temperature and humidity plays a big role in the formation of curd as this is not a normal curd formed by milk.
