I'm Michelle Smith an Instructional Media Specialist in Grand Prairie. I work specifically at Dubiski Career High School were I support approximately 1600 students and 100 teachers in a 1:1 laptop environment. This is my 22nd year in education, and I'm a former English teacher!

Q: What questions can I ask myself during lesson planning that can elevate my lessons following the SAMR model?
A: I can determine is there is new technology that can do a task better than an old technology. Once I have identified the new technology, I can then determine if that technology can elevate the activity to a whole new level, for which the technology plays a major role in.
How: The article that I found enabled me to answer this question.
