BIBLICAL CITY OFFERS INDIANA JONES EXPERIENCE!
In the ancient biblical city of Antakya, you’ll find Turkey’s oldest mosque, the Habib-I Neccar Cami, and an ancient Christian church in a hillside cavern said to have been which excavated by St Peter himself. You can strip down to a towel as you sweat it out in a 500-year-old Turkish bath building or take a stroll through the covered bazaar, a labyrinth of narrow, cobbled alleyways like something out of an Indiana Jones movie.
Last November I spent a week in Antakya researching my upcoming novel SORRY TIME. Antakya is the setting for the climax of SORRY TIME. Look out for SORRY TIME in bookstores and online from early 2017. Meanwhile, you can view this brief YouTube clip about my visit to the ancient city (and meet Hassan, pictured below, a Turkish bath-frequenting Syrian selling blackmarket cigarettes): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IqAfQSoOUg
