To all community members you can not just post a link to your website with one sentence attached or post that same post to many communities. Google is coming down on spammy posting in communities. If a community allows spam it can negatively affect everyone in the community. YOu need to create posts which launch a discussion where people comment and engage. I will be very strict with any posts that are at all spammy and delete them. Lets get some engagement and discussions going. No more links to your website with a sentence like check this out. That will not fly - thanks

Tips for Preventing False Alarms:
• Make sure everyone in your home knows how to use the alarm system. Give temporary pass codes to repairmen who will be in and out of your home when you are not present.
• Keep hanging objects away from motion detectors.
• Before you arm your system, make sure all doors and windows are closed and locked.

My current house alarm is Honeywell galaxy 2-20 c020. I've multiple panic buttons, 2 keypads and a load of pir sensors. It's a great alarm but as I'm looking for something more connected and intelligent. I've seen loads of Chinese models but they seem cheap and nasty.
I could always expand the current alarm using rpi and arduino boards but is there anything you recommend?

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to share a first of its kind lock that will make your sliding glass door a secure entry and exit door! You can swap out your current lock for our 2-way, keyless lock. We just launched on Kickstarter, and we'd love your support or feedback! https://goo.gl/iokBrD
