Google seems to go all out for phone and tablet. Certainly the design of "the new Google plus" (bah!) is made for those devices.

It bugs me to the Moon and back that they are ignoring the PC. So...  #google , you are aware that we do have those type of machines in house, are you? You made adaptive designs of the New G+ for tablets and phones. so... why haven't you also made one for the PC?

That's why I'm asking you people: Are you using G+ on a PC?

So... I get an email from +Amazon.com, the UK store, to the tune of "oh boy oh boy oh boy, do we have a great product for you!" (It was something I looked at on Amazon.com, the big store , not the UK one.)

I click on the image, it takes me to Amazon UK, and there, in red, it says "sorry, none of the sellers deliver this product to your location..."

So Amazon UK, why the hell are you sending me email about stuff you can't deliver? And by the way, the big Amazon does deliver that product to where I am, only the UK one does not...

All of the search things have got to get better... I know we're all tired of seeing ads for weeks for things we just bought that are one time purchase items like in a microwave or something... Now for consumables I understand them showing you the ads over and over but they need to get that kind of stuff straight.

As I said previously, my opinions are simply that. My opinions. You have yours as well. Nothing wrong with that.

+Jeff Jarvis As a Professor of Journalism and authoritative voice in your profession, I'd like to hear your take on this.

A lot of article titles end up being over-exaggerated click bait. This one however is not. How in the world did anyone think it was a good idea to provide enough information to identify closed gay athletes, including ones from homophobic countries?

The Daily Beasts reaction to the outrage over this has been to edit out the identifying information from the article. Too little too late and one that also ignores why anyone would care that athletes, gay or not, are having sex, or why the author goes out of his way to be snide about gay athletes.
On Thursday morning, the Daily Beast published an exceedingly gross and bizarre article by a straight, married male writer who lured in gay Olympians t ...

Call me crazy, but I think this is a glimpse at the future. This thing scaled up to straddle a field, or an entire greenhouse could be a game changer.

Of course, we will have to rethink our society when something like this is as common as... the most common thing you can think of... People will need a basic income, and something to do with their time. Because if we don't, we'll end up with a lot of humans with nothing to do, nothing to hope for, and nothing to lose.

But those are challenges and questions we will have to face anyways, weather we like it or not. The old models (meaning none of our current societal models), won't work in a world heralded by technology like this.

We all know how it started, but things have changed. So... Has the internet become a utility, akin to water supply, sanitation, electricity, and roads?

You betcha! Recently, when I was searching for a new home in a community, I ranked Internet speed and reliability third on the needs list, third only to property resale value and work/school commute for the family.

LOL! The Dutch police found a use for this pokemon thing. They invested 100 € in this plan (lol)... they made Pokemon hotspots in neighbourhoods at risk for home burglaries... so there are A LOT of extra eyes on the street at the most unusual hours. No sneaking around and breaking in with all those Pokemon hunters around, all carrying cameras and phones.

Haha..
