"It is amazing what a little more rain and sunshine will do to produce more veggies from my garden. It was so lovely picking this afternoon and listening to the breeze through the trees and watching the leaves fall." Oct. 22, 2017

Almost time for the Hummingbirds to return; we usually see these around the middle of April, buzzing around the general area where their bird-feeders are stationed to let us know that we should hang them up again. On this day in the summer of 2016, they were flocking around the feeder after a nice rain.

I have a fascination with old barns & buildings which are found all over this part of East, TN. These are in the hills behind our cabin. They are gorgeous no matter what time of year. When I see them I can't help but ponder what life a century ago must have been like, with activity surrounding these structures.
