Snagit for Google Chrome  -

I haven't figure out naming the screenshot. I thought I had it working by typing in the  name at the top and hitting return. Then I looked in my folder and all of the screenshots were still named untitled. What am I doing wrong?

When trying to capture the visible screen or use the scrolling capture, the image produced when downloaded or linked to has about an inch of the right-hand side of the page cut off; is there a remedy for this?

I would like to invite members of this group to a google+ community that offers practical help using video tutorials developed using Camtasia. The videos will assist with the delivery of Python programming courses for students, pupils, teachers, lecturers and individual learners.

The videos differ from many on the web. Videos in this community use schematic animations to help convey the concepts covered.

Snagit for Google Chrome  -

I'm getting static when I make screencast videos with Snagit on my Chromebook. I've used Snagit for months now and this is the first time I've had an issue. No static when I Google Hangout.

Thanks for the heads-up +Tom Mullaney! The issue was related to an update that Google pushed out for Chrome. As +Nate Gray mentioned, we pushed out an update that should hopefully fix the issue this morning, so everything should be working. Please let us know if you find this is not the case. Thanks for using Snagit for Google Chrome!

How I use SnagIt on my Chromebook to make video lesson recaps. Great for absent students and anytime learning!
I went to to EdCamp New Jersey at the end of November where I heard Chris Aviles suggest teachers should make video recaps. He argued that in a 1:1 classroom, video lesson recaps are a powerful too...

I am trying Snagit for the first time.  I have downloaded it from the Chrome Web Store.  Are there any tutorials how to use this version?  I see many tutorials but I do not figure out how to do any of the things shown.  All I have is the little Snagit icon next to my url bar.  Please help.

Check it out. A website designed to help learn/teach Python programming using FREE video lessons developed using Camtasia.

I have amended the website to give more options as to where you can view the videos in the PythonByteSize series. There are now two video lists one directs you to the videos on YouTube and the other lists links to the videos embedded on the website.

You can now also move through the list in sequence on the website by clicking next (and previous) links.

Help please!!  I LOVE TechSmith Snag It and use it all the time for my flipped lessons, so I figured it's time to get the students to use it, but we are having issues.... I just used SnagIt last period with my students, but none of them were able to have it sync the capture.  In January I did the same thing with my students, and even early last week and there were NO issues...

are using Chromebooks, they have the latest version of Drive, have the app and extension installed.  They get a message that they need to sign in and out of Chrome to get the app fully working, but we can't figure out how to sign out of Chrome on a Chromebook.  It seems that the app is not syncing with their Drive accounts.  We signed in and out of the Chromebook, and then the app/extension did not appear.  We had to install it again, and then had the same issue.

Interesting to note, that when I had a student log into my Chromebook (Same one as the student ones, same settings, etc.. ) she was able to get it to work no problem.

Any suggestions?

Awesome #flipclass  article by +Scott Haselwood
There are as many ways to flip your class as there are ways to build a pizza. You need some key ingredients, like a good lesson, some editing software or an iPad with some recording apps, and time. You also need some toppings: where to host your videos, which LMS will work best for you, and video le
