It was a disaster. They could have told us the city was going to stink. 
For a while, it seemed as if the whole National Capital Region was slipping under a foul-smelling blanket. Buildings were evacuated and the fire department received more than 230 calls as an odour of rotten eggs spread through the air in Ottawa and into Gatineau Thursday afternoon.

This is a weird story to follow! Who would have thought that the blame for a simple message that could have potentially soiled someone's reputation ends up falling indirectly onto the lap of Twitter...read through the storify and let me know what you think!
