With Google+ shutting down...feel free to join me in moving over to MeWe:
https://mewe.com/join/worship_guitarists

I got kicked out of both my team and my church. Over my politics, of all things. Y'all enjoy leading worship at your respective places; I gotta start over.

I'm still alive. Moved churches recently, really enjoying getting to play. Pic of my board for attention.

Because I'm weird, I wanted a custom patchbay setup for my pedalboard going into my stereo chorus amp. So I built a standard 5-way patchbay, pretty straightforward. But then I used the "switching" contacts of the jacks to make it do things depending on what I have plugged in.
If I'm running my amp, I plug everything in (mono send, stereo return and send) and everything is straight through.
If I am running direct, I only plug in the "left stereo fx out" and it automatically loops the mono out back in (and splits it), and also sums the stereo outs back to mono.
Total cost was like $20.

I picked up a Taylor 814ce. It's kinda a generic guitar for worship music, but I really like it. It's a big step up from my Breedlove.

Got tired of having a giant Fender footswitch on my board, and I wanted something smaller, but Fender uses this weird AC signal thing for some of its amps. Can't use a regular TRS footswitch. So I busted out the soldering iron again. This circuit is pretty simple: two sswitches, two diodes and LEDs (facing opposite directions) and that's it. When one switch is on, you get half-wave rectified current. The other switch gives the same, but in the opposite phase. And both on gives it full-wave AC (about 20V or so).
