Wait...is that an EBow???
Yup! Too bad it isn't in stereo. It sounded better on TV, ironically.

Winter Stargazing
This song features a Martin DC Aura Custom acoustic guitar was used for the rhythm track and also the interspersed guitar leads. A Gibson Les Paul combined with an EBow electronic bow was used to create the flute-like lead track.

Two Part Invention for EBow in D minor (flanged mix)
Here's a new mix for an EBow song I recorded a few weeks ago. This one includes a looper track that wasn't used in the last version. It also has some flanging and echo effects added to the EBow tracks to help reduce the harshness.

Hello Folks,

I've been making records with my ebow since the early 1980's. My recent solo album of guitar instrumentals is loaded with ebow. A british classical composer has written an Ebow concerto for me, as yet unrecorded.

Two Part Invention for EBow in D minor (alternate mix)
Less is more, when it comes to the EBow harmony track. I also nuked the looper track with the picked arpeggios. I think this is an improvement.

Two Part Invention for EBow in D minor
Sorry about the USB cable blocking the view in the EBow clips. It makes it look like it was taken from a hidden security cam feed, LOL.

The song features two EBow tracks performed on a Les Paul neck pickup with the tone knob rolled all the way back. The Les Paul and the Rickenbacker bass were both in drop D tuning. The drums were generated by a Digitech TRIO+ pedal. Not crazy about them, but it generated them at a weird 138.6 BPM, so I couldn't replace them with a BeatBuddy track (BeatBuddy doesn't do decimal points on BPM).
