Do you think you would have benefited from working with a Consulting Teacher in the PAR Program during your first year?

Welcome to my first Google Community! I chose a topic that is directly related to my current work as a Consulting Teacher with Peer Assistance and Review (PAR). Here's some background about PAR:

PAR began two years ago as a joint effort among the teacher's union, administrator's union and school district to support novice teachers who had no prior teaching experience. The program provides job-embedded professional development with the goal of increasing student achievement and teacher retention at high-needs schools.

This year, I work with 19 teachers at 3 different schools. I assist them by engaging in coaching conversations, co-teaching, modeling, observing, providing NEPF-based feedback, etc.

Please post any questions that you have about PAR and I will answer them to the best of my ability.
