#clmooc   #25wordstory  While thinking about identity and a paradox of social media, I created an animated story using paper circuitry and the DoInk Green Screen and Drawing/Animation apps.

My first 25 words story, and without the word "the" either!

Waiting for help, which never comes.  Abandoned homes from Sandy’s aftermath:  Union Beach, NJ. Mold grows from summer heat; grass, waist high.  Safety concerns abound.

Hey #clmooc ers. Much gratitude for all of the game/sightseeing suggestions. You're such a generous bunch. I love it. Here's one last game, if you care to play. In lieu of the #25wordstory  conversation, write a #15wordstory  for the image. I did mine in PicMonkey, but feel free to just reply to the post. If you want to try PicMonkey, you can find brief directions by going to tinyurl.com/learningful. Then look at the doc, "The Learningful Challenge, part 2." You can also find the image in that folder, so you can drag it into your drive and open with PicMonkey. Thanks all.

Although there tends to be some questioning of the validity of this statement, some claim Ernest Hemingway wrote the shortest story: "For Sale: Baby shoes, never worn." When I was a teacher, I challenged my students to write stories in 50 words or less, and they LOVED it! My challenge to you is to write a story in 25 words or less, since I know we are all up for a challenge. I hope there are still a few people out there who haven't checked out for the holiday weekend yet. I'm excited to read your stories! And if you want to challenge yourself, you can always change the challenge. For example, "I challenge myself to write a story in 15 words or less" or "I challenge myself to write a story in 25 words without using the letter 'e''". Just let us know what you are changing this one rule to so we know. Have fun story telling!
