How the heck does my B2B SaaS Startup Get Started With Paid Advertising?
A bit of background for you. I've recently been brought on by Responster, a Stockholm-based startup, as kind of the one man content marketing team. While I'm working on outreach and content creation for our blog, we have a small budget - say about $700 to start - to try and supplement our efforts with some paid traffic.
Our goal is to run some tests for 3-5 days at a time, with the goal of seeing what an extra 50-100 visits to a landing page might do for us per day, and learning from there.
Currently, we're looking at some LinkedIn and Facebook ads, though I'm also interested in going the route of sponsored content.
Where I need your help is in figuring out where I might want to focus our initial tests (websites, platforms, etc.). Where have you had success? How would you suggest getting started?
So you know a bit more about the business:
- Most of our current users, and damn near all our paying ones, are businesses of some size.
- The product itself is an app, for web and iOS/Android, which allows companies to easily create well-designed surveys for customer feedback, employee engagement, event planning, etc. They can analyze their results in a dashboard, see trends over time, contact individuals based upon their responses, etc.
Anything you can offer at this point is helpful! I would love to start formulating a basic list of strategy and design/landing page needs for the rest of the team by the end of today or tomorrow, and while I have my own ideas, I figured I would reach out to your wonderful bunch for some input!
All the best and thanks in advance,
