Are there any known issues with the UK/EU PSN Store on PS4 at the moment?

I installed the PS4 1.6 firmware update today, and now the Store on PS4 doesn't recognise my PS Plus subscription - it just keeps showing me subscription options, so I can't access Plus content.

I don't know if this is related to the firmware, or just a coincidence with the store update today. It doesn't appear to be the PS4 system itself, as I can still play Resogun and Contrast, which I got for free as a Plus member, and I can play online.

The store on PS3 and Vita is fine and I can access the Plus offerings on those. The web store also recognises my sub, and I've had to use that to download Outlast today.

On the main home screen where your games are listed, I get no gold + icon next to my username (which I'm sure I had before), but I do if I go into the Profile section.

So far, I have tried:
- Powering down completely.
- Deactivating and reactivating my PS4 as my primary system.
- Restoring licenses.
- Rebuilding the database.

With the exception of rebuilding the database, I have tried each of the above several times, with no luck.

Anyone got any ideas/info?

After a bigger HDD for your #PS4? This drive has been tested and fits/works fine:

Hitachi HGST Travelstar 5K1500 - 1.5TB, 9.5mm, 5400rpm

http://www.span.com/product/Hitachi-HGST-Travelstar-5K1500-HTS541515A9E630-0J28001-SATA-6Gb-1-5TB-5400rpm~41229

I ordered mine yesterday. Today it's gone up in price by £15 or so. Might go higher as demand increases, so probably worth getting in ASAP if you want one.

Of course, you don't have to buy from them, but none of my other usual sources had this particular drive listed last night. I'm basically putting this here so that you have a make & model you know will work fine.

The official FAQ states that drives must be no bigger than 9.5mm high, but a PS4 teardown on a German site says 12.5mm will fit, so I wasn't sure. I was looking at a 2TB 12.5mm drive but was uncertain, so I went for one of these as the site says it's been tested.

Wow, what a bullshit move. Square-Enix have confirmed buying FFXIV on PS3 will allow you to get the whole game for free on PS4. No extra cost.

It helps that the game itself is absolutely amazing too.

Clearly another win for Ps4... Proprietary headset is the exact same reason I won't ever buy a Samsung phone, us sound people like to be able to use our own gear... Looks like Microsoft have learnt some bad lessons about locked ecosystems from Apple. Thankfully Sony have made those mistakes already and are making much more mature and less arrogant decisions in this field. Even happier about my Ps4 pre order. :-)

I agree with +Mark Holland the bigger selling features of TV connectivity and such seem very America centrist. Not really of much value here in Australia. And having recently moved house and waited 2 months for a Telecom to get my internet connected, the prospect of a always online ecosystem (yes I know they did a 180 on their DRM but I still see them pushing it out after they sell consoles) is a major nightmare. The ideas they had seemed good but the implementation left a lot to be desired. They forgot that a disc and a digital download have independent benefits and ignoring one to push the other along regardless of what their consumer base wants is retail suicide.

UK folks - if you didn't already know, you can get #TheLastOfUs  Joel Edition for £39.99 from Tesco. Usual price is £44.99 but enter the code TD-KFPW at checkout for £5 off.

I doubt you'll find it cheaper anywhere else.

I pre-ordered mine just before posting it, and it was still valid then.

Don't know how true this is, but I've just seen it on Twitter. If you're in the UK and don't have a PlayStation Vita yet, it's probably worth checking out...

NEWSFLASH. HMV are flogging Vita stock off. Console (3G or WiFi model) & 4gb memory card for £99.99.

I have pre ordered the ps4 already, anyone else as excited as me? I have a major pipe dream that they will allow mkv support to this console finally. Or maybe reinstate Linux support on the legacy ps3, and allow xbmc to rock on it... The thought is a wow moment that would win them so many fans as a company that supports it's customers.
