If someone who gets the Sprint 4.4.4 soak can dump it or pass it on to me, would be greatly appreciated so I can make a flashable for all.

Sorry if this has come up already. I looked through the posts and didn't see anything though. I have a 2013 X, Verizon. Rooted, bootloader unlocked. There is an update, I'm presuming to Lollipop, but I don't want to wipe, etc. to take the update. Anyone know the procedure to do this?

When I do a network search, Verizon DOES show up on my pure edition moto x. But, when I put the wife's Verizon Sim in it, it says "can't register on network" is there something special that I need to do to make the Sim work in my moto?

It wouldn't work, only VZW phones work on the VZW network...

So I ran into some trouble with my Moto X while trying to update to 4.4.4.

I was running stock ROM with Xposed. I unistalled Xposed the flashed the stock recovery with fastboot. (I guess that I didn't clear the modem files and that must be where the troubles came from.) I then took the update. It complete f'ed my phone. I then tried to flash the system image but I think the update flashed the new partition and motoboot images because I couldn't flash the stock ones. it said it could not downgrade. I then found the updated files on XDA (http://goo.gl/LEalbp) (download link: http://goo.gl/nJgNRC). That lead me to just flash everything with the sequence below found on the Motorola website. (http://goo.gl/MQOBNL).

I did run into one error while flashing the system.img. At the end of the flashin sequence the phone showed in red sp space not enough. After reflashing the system.img file it did not appear. Everything seems to be working now I just have to set up my phone again. (arrrgh!)

I hope this can help anyone else out.

A typical flashing sequence includes all these partitions, but might vary depending on your product - so please use the sequence in the .xml file in your package:

$ fastboot flash partition gpt.bin
$ fastboot flash motoboot motoboot.img
$ fastboot reboot-bootloader
$ fastboot flash logo logo.bin
$ fastboot flash boot boot.img
$ fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
$ fastboot flash system system.img
$ fastboot erase modemst1
$ fastboot erase modemst2
$ fastboot flash fsg fsg.mbn
$ fastboot reboot

You also have the option to erase all the data on your device with

$ fastboot erase userdata
$ fastboot erase cache
