We are happy to announce that Barbarossa has already 160 registered players.

In this period the second team that got invited into Phase II (Abou as an insider and Xr(O.O)nic as an outlander) waits for the phase to begin. As the weather was pretty bad in the areas the game will be played the phase was postponed and we hope that tomorow the weather will be fine an the team will be able to proceed.

Meanwhile Phase I of Barbarossa continues to be live and eveyrone can still participate and try to get a ticket for Phase II and access to the prize lottery.

As we got this question a lot we will explain now how you can update your experience and report completed quests so you can further proceed to the game.

As Barbarossa is designed to function even offline reporting completed quests is done with the following way:

Go to the Quest List tab (press Quests from the stats and actions tab) and check under the report button at the bottom right. If you have completed quests you will be able to see the amount of experience you can update under the report button. Press the "Update List" and then the "Report" button. Your experience should be updated and the completed quests should disappear from your quest log.

In the below image you can check the above explanation in-game.

Hi all,

I am a PhD student and for the past couple of years i was developing a research prototype of a Trans-Reality Role Playing Game name "Barbarossa" staged in the city of Mytilene (but you can play from everywhere).  Barbarossa is a 2-Phase game with the first phase played freely in Google Play. The best players from Phase I are progressivelly invited into Phase II to complete the overall game goal cooperating in teams consiting of 3 persons to open a real locked chest and win real prizes !

Why real prizes and how you get them?

Upon completing the game which has a Pirate/Treasure theme we thought that it would be interesting if we could reward the players with real rewards during its research evaluation. As there is a big univeristy student community in Mytilene/Greece where the game was developed and staged we  started contacting sponsors and we managed to gather 30 Prizes to rewards the 30 players that will complete Phase II of Barbarossa. So everyone gets a prize for their effort.

You can read all the details of Barbarossa and Pre-Register for a 15 experience bonus at www.BarbarossaRPG.com. The game will be released next weed on 29/10/2013.

Thanks and have fun :)
