Just joined y'all...seems like a good community for me. I'm no mechanic, but I do my own repairs.
Read a few posts and comments, already learned a bit.

A sad day today! We just found out that a good friend of ours and life long fellow biker, died today. Edward Soul, age 53, was driving his van to work and from what we know, lost control of the vehicle and plowed into another truck at a traffic light and was killed instantly. Fortunately the other driver survived.

Edward was a good honest friend and a good man. He in fact, just recently finished a trike build with his son Billy, also a good friend, so that they could continue riding together, despite his inability to ride a two wheeled bike anymore due to health issues. He was a true brother and dedicated biker.

May he rest in peace!

Lookie here! I still need transportation for work while I save up the money to fix my Sportster and I ride year round. So I looked around and found this beauty.

I bought myself a 2004 Honda Shadow Spirit VT1100C yesterday. Got a good deal on it too. Even though it has 37,000 miles on it, it's in excellent condition and runs like new. I'm loving the black and chrome! It already has Kuryakyn iso grips. Just needs a windshield for the winter.

Fortunately, I paid off my Harley last tax season so I will only have one bike payment to deal with. Now I will have two bike to choose from once I get my Sportster fixed, hopefully by next summer.
