This is how I feel about Sanchez (pic below). Surely a lot of people would say "wouldn't you go to Man U for £14m a year?" Not at 29yo or you end up like RVP or Rooney but I guess he is planning for retirement in Chile; when volatile players get brain washed by their agents they become very short sighted about their future and contribution to the sport beyond their active career (if indeed they do love the sport) Sanchez is a great footballer and all this rubbish about re-uniting with Pep is just wrong because a) Pep preferred Pedro at Barca over Sanchez and b) why would City get Sanchez now? To have a free title ride? What message would Pep send to the squad that's way ahead of the rest?
So greedy Sanchez Pty Ltd looks for extra £££ somewhere else. It is hard to be the best player in a squad but it is much harder for a great player to become a great leader and team mate and unfortunately Alexis cannot be a leader for us and is causing too much friction. I'm thankful for the goal he gave us but still see his departure as a Fabregas or Nasri.....Don't wish him bad fortune but I don't think he deserves a tribute post either. COYG against Palace ;)

It's obvious Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette is struggling for form of late, after failing to convert in any of his previous nine appearances. Why and how can he fix his issues? Rusty Gorelick was on the case in our second opinion post of the day.

Sometimes I don't understand players when being so close to the end of their careers they jump ship; I do get everyone wants trophies but let's be realistic - Man City and Chelsea can only take so many players; the rest of their transfer activities are just to mess up the other teams. Alexis wants to join Man City (apparently) and also it appears Man U are bidding as well. Alexis has been our best player since he joined but why would he want to join Man City who are certain to be champions without him anyway? It must be the $$$ because honestly Man City don't need him. Why do players like Kane, Gerrard stick to their club regardless of silverware? We all like to win but would you join a team to be able to say you won a piece of silver or would you battle on and stay around one club for those memories and future generations? Guardiola didn't play Sanchez regularly at Barca so why get him now? If Alexis goes then thanks mate you are a great footballer but (COYG):

I know we've been on an abysmal run of form this season but we still haven't won(lost all) a game wearing this blue kit. This Blue kit is cursed!
