I want to connect a display to my pi with mopidy and I want to See the Album Cover blurred in the background, the title and the Minute of the song playing. I'm totally New in Programming. Any Ideas how to do?

As anyone following this community has probably guessed it's a bit quiet here. Part of the reason for that is https://discuss.mopidy.com/ which we setup quite some time ago for everything Mopidy related.

Feel free to join us there, and as a bonus there is no need to create a new account as we support Google logins (among others).

Hello, I have released a plugin for EventGhost. EventGhost is an advanced, easy to use and extensible automation tool for MS Windows. It can use different input devices like infrared or wireless remote controls to trigger macros, that on their part control a computer and its attached hardware. So it can be used to control a Media-PC with a normal consumer remote. But its possible uses go much beyond this.

Readmore here and check out the forum part:

The plugin is described and downloadable from here:

Hello,
Not sure if this is the right place to ask...
I have the mopidy up and running on a RPi with mopify client for Spotify. Everything just working working perfect.

Now the thing. I would like to control mopify from a python application over the network.

What api would you suggest is best to use from a python environment ( I guess JSON RPC would be a good choice)?

Anyone have a simple python sample connecting to mopidy and get current track?

{"jsonrpc": "2.0", "id": 1, "method": "core.playback.get_current_track"}

With best regards, Walter

How do I make Mopidy (using RompR) play music from a NAS? Do I change the media_dir, and to what?
