WI-HOPE Conference is set for Friday, February 26, 2016 at Wisconsin Dells High School!  Watch for information via email and Google+ in the next day or two.  $30 for WI-HOPE members; $45.00 for non-members.

Would you be willing to share with me the informational brochure/flyer that your use to promote HOSA to your students? Thank you in advance!

Anyone that participates in Simulated Workplace, could you please email me your ideas on how you pay your students and what is it they are working for. I am thinking of paying them for attendance and test grades and then getting companies to donate things that they can purchased with their "money" at the end of the year. I am just wondering how everyone else does it. PLEASE SEND ME IDEAS AND SUGGESTIONS!! crystal.joiner@mps.k12.al.us

Does anyone know if a date has been set for the 2018 HOPE Conference? My district wants me to submit sub requests by the end of next week. Thanks.

Hello everyone! Over the next couple months, WI AHEC will be writing lesson plans to be placed on a wonderful online resource portal headed up by WI DPI. These lesson plans are being developed for you to use and we want your input. To help get us started, please let me know content topics you would like additional support around. Topics can be knowledge or skill-based and must be connected to the WI Standards for Health Science or WI Common Career Technical Standards. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Did we, HOSA advisors, receive any deadlines for ILC yet?

any teachers have "simulation-like activities for different health careers? Ex. having students wrap athletic injuries for athletic trainer, learning different massages for massage therapist, practicing sutures for surgeons.

I'd like to find different interactive things for students to do as we talk about different health careers

I was looking at the National Service Project competitive event for HOSA and it appears that the students don't need to be present at State in order to compete in this event. Is that right? I have some students that want to compete but don't want to miss more school.

Thanks in advance

Wondering if anyone has curriculum guides for their courses available. Curious how other schools plot their courses.
