✨🇲️🇦️🇬️🇮️🇨️🇦️🇱️ 🇺️🇳️🇮️🇻️🇪️🇷️🇸️🇪️ - Sh2-114 by Sara Wager

Sh2 -114, also listed as LBN 347, is a very weak emission nebula visible in the constellation of the Swan, it is integrated into a much larger structure cataloged as LBN 346. Sh2-114 which is known as the Flying Dragon Nebula, is a cloud very little studied beyond its mere cataloging, with a filamentous aspect and apparently constituted by several superimposed arched strands; It has a semicircular shape with the concavity oriented towards the south and seems to constitute, together with the nearby cloud Sh2-113, a bubble structure similar to a supernova remnant. But nevertheless.....

✨🇲️🇦️🇬️🇮️🇨️🇦️🇱️ 🇺️🇳️🇮️🇻️🇪️🇷️🇸️🇪️ - NGC 2403 by César Blanco

The image shows the intermediate spiral galaxy NGC 2403, which was taken at the H-Alpha Escobar de Campos observatory located in León, Spain, by the extraordinary astrophotographer César Blanco González, with the LRGB filter system. NGC 2403 is only 8 million light-years away from Earth, in the direction of the Camelopardis constellation. Its extension is 75,000 light years and its apparent magnitude 8,9. In NGC 2403 several stellar agglomerations can be observed due to the large number of star formation regions HII located in its spiral arms, six of them very large, up to 2,000 light years in size, and very bright, with properties similar to those of 30 Doradus in the Large Cloud of Magellan or NGC 604 in M33. Its northern arm connects with the star cloud NGC 2404. It is part of the M81 Group and the Coma-Sculptor Galaxies Cloud. In fact, it is one of the most spiral galaxies.....

✨🇲️🇦️🇬️🇮️🇨️🇦️🇱️ 🇺️🇳️🇮️🇻️🇪️🇷️🇸️🇪️ - Grand Mesa Observatory GMO

The observatory "Grand Mesa Observatory" is a non-profit educational organization that will provide practical experiences and educational opportunities to foster the passion for astronomy and science in western Colorado, United States. It will be fulfilling this mission throughout the United States and other countries of the world through the remote control of telescopes. Grand Mesa Observatory was born from the idea that in today's era of technology and connectivity, dark skies should be easily accessible to everyone. From private images that seek to make remote astrophotography to school groups that want to test their basic research work, GMO aims to provide the necessary facilities and experience for a wide range of services. Located on the slopes of Grand Mesa, it is at an elevation of 6,150 feet in western Colorado, in a region that has low humidity, a lot of clear nights and very little light pollution. All this makes it an almost perfect place for serious astronomers and astrophotographers. At the Grand Mesa Observatory, astrophotographers around the world can rent a space on the telescopic base to house their own equipment and take advantage of Colorado's dark skies. Also can.....

✨🇲️🇦️🇬️🇮️🇨️🇦️🇱️ 🇺️🇳️🇮️🇻️🇪️🇷️🇸️🇪️ - Broad field view of Messier 4

Around the Milky Way orbit more than 150 globular star clusters that go back to the distant past of the Universe. One of the closest to the Earth is the globular cluster Messier 4, also known as NGC 6121, it is located in the direction of the constellation of Scorpio. This bright object can be easily observed with binoculars, near Antares, a red supergiant star, and a small amateur telescope, can show some of the stars that compose it. This is a color composition carried out with exposures from the Digitized Sky Survey 2 survey. The smallest globular cluster located at the top left is NGC 6144. It is similar to Messier 4, but it is three times farther. The red glow of the hydrogen clouds and the associated star formation can also be seen. Astronomers have also been able to separately analyze many of the stars in this cluster, by using various instruments that are part of the Very Large Telescope. By separating the light from the stars in the colors that compose it, astronomers can.....

✨🇲️🇦️🇬️🇮️🇨️🇦️🇱️ 🇺️🇳️🇮️🇻️🇪️🇷️🇸️🇪️ - The Magellanic Clouds and 47 Tuc by Lynn Hilborn

This image of the astrophotographer Lynn Hilborn, shown as in the sky not only can see stars, but also planets, nebulae, galaxies and star clusters, in addition to the Moon and the Sun. It stands out above all, in the upper part of the image, the largest satellite galaxy of the Milky Way, the Large Magellanic Cloud, LMC for short. It is a dwarf galaxy and member of the Local Group galaxy cluster. It is 163,000 light years away from Earth, being the third galaxy closest to the Milky Way after the Dwarf galaxy of the Greater Canary and the Dwarf elliptical galaxy of Sagittarius. It is visible to the naked eye as a weak object in the southern hemisphere of the earth between the Constellation of Dorado and Mensa. It forms one of the so-called Magellanic Clouds of the southern hemisphere next to the dwarf galaxy NGC 292. The peculiar position of the Large Magellanic Cloud, exactly in the direction of the south pole of the ecliptic, means that from Mediterranean latitudes it is not visible at any time , so it remained unknown in classical antiquity. The first mention of the Great Magellanic Cloud appears in the Book of the Fixed Stars, text written by the Persian astronomer Abd Al-Rahman Al Sufi around the year 964. It is mentioned as Al Bakr, the White Ox of the Arabs of the south, since the Large Magellanic Cloud is visible from southern Arabia. The following recorded observation was made in.....

✨🇲️🇦️🇬️🇮️🇨️🇦️🇱️ 🇺️🇳️🇮️🇻️🇪️🇷️🇸️🇪️ - Arp 226 from La Silla

What is the strange object that shows the image? It is NGC 7252, a lenticular galaxy that is fusing and swallowing another galaxy. The interaction is also cataloged as Arp 226, and nicknamed with a nickname as strange as the object, Atoms for Peace. It is the result of a collision between two galaxies that began a billion years ago. Curiously, the collision has deformed the spiral arms of both galaxies, taking the form with which we represent an electron orbiting an atom, hence its name. The strange object is located in the direction of the Aquarius Constellation, and is located about 220 million light years from Earth. X-ray emissions have been detected, suggesting that there is nuclear activity, or a black hole of intermediate mass. The central region of the galaxy is home to hundreds of massive and ultra-luminous star clusters composed of young stars that appear as knots of bluish light. These young clusters were created in the supposed fusion of the galaxies, which pushed the gases to these regions and caused an explosion of star formation. The most conspicuous of them is one known as.....
