Python Data Type Conversions

One example of a conversion technique in Python is the string to integer conversion. It converts the number in the string text to an integer value.

One of the data type conversions require the user to use the name as a function. Instead of parenthesis, you can put the type function in quotes. To convert strings back into numbers and other objects, use the int(), long(), and float() functions.

In the video bellow you will be able to learn what will happen with numbers, Strings , double , decimals , etc under a certain converted datatype .
Example:
Double = 11.59 (64 bit )
Int = 11
Float = 11.59 (32 bit)
Str = "11.59"

I like these links because it is official documentation from the programmers behind the language

I like this website because it is very clear regarding how data type conversions are very clear. I learned how data type conversions work by calling specific functions and manually entering the number. An example is hexadecimal conversion something we learned manually can just be converted (in python) for example hex(16) converts the 16 into hex returning the hex value 10
