"If supporters of Senate Bill SB1739 can get it right with its recent proposal, then the third time will definitely be a charm for online gambling in Illinois.

There are many amendments to the Chicago Casino Development bill, in particular the amendment pertaining to, "Establishing a Division of Internet Gaming within the Department of the Lottery for the purpose of administering, regulating, and enforcing a system of Internet gaming" — allowing IL residents the freedom to access online #gaming sites from their home PCs and mobile devices."

Texans Try Their Luck Again on #Poker Laws:

"As state lawmakers work on issues ranging from balancing the budget to banning texting while driving, they are also considering measures to give people more leeway to play poker with legal wagering in Texas — online, at #bingo halls, or at special clubs.
