Intelligence: Sonic is an excellent combatant, has foiled every one of Dr. Eggman's plots, He supplements his astonishing speed with an excellent sense of balance and control, easily flipping and somersaulting over obstacles with ease (as demonstrated during his first encounter with Silver) and blitzing foes with rapid series of punches and kicks that are based on breakdancing and Capoeira. However, Sonic is often rather self-assured and free-spirited, rarely taking things seriously unless his friends are somehow caught in the crossfire, which has gotten him in trouble on more than one occasion.

Weaknesses: Sonic can be quite cocky and overconfident | super sonic Lasts for only a short time before he reverts back to base form without constant ring energy. does not use chaos control rather relies on his own natural speed in combat.

Sonic:


Spin Attack: Sonic curls into a ball while rolling along the ground.
Spin Jump: A variant of Spin Dash used to attack enemies mid-
jump.

Spin Dash: Sonic rolls in place to charge up, then dashes forward at high speed in ball form.

Homing Attack: While in the air, Sonic performs a high-speed Spin Dash towards the nearest enemy.

Light Speed Attack: Sonic charged a Spin Dash before attacking all nearby enemies at high speed.

Blue Tornado: Sonic uses the Spin Dash to circle around an opponent in midair at high speed while leaving a blue aura trail. The resulting slipstream creates a tornado effect that forms a blue cyclonic vortex of air around the opponent.

Sonic Wind: Sonic creates a vortex of wind in a given area and damages enemies at that spot.

Sonic Boost: Sonic envelops himself in a blue aura and accelerates to his highest speed.

Sonic Heal: Sonic can heal himself by vibrating his molecules at high speeds, healing any physical damage he may have received.

black Bomb: Using the power of a Black Wisp, Sonic becomes a living and incredibly dense bomb. In this form his he is able to induce widespread explosions by detonating himself without causing himself harm.

Blue Cube: Using the power of a Blue Wisp, Sonic transforms into a perfectly shaped blue cube. When transformed into the Blue Cube, Sonic can send out powerful short ranged shockwaves by slamming into the ground.

Crimson Eagle: Using the power of a Crimson Wisp, Sonic turns into a crimson-colored eagle-like figure. As the Crimson Eagle, Sonic can achieve flight and soar through the air unhindered.

Cyan Laser: Using the power of a Cyan Wisp, Sonic transforms into a cyan laser beam. As the Cyan Laser, Sonic gains the same properties as that of a real laser, allowing him to move as a living beam of light. When hitting any surfaces as the Cyan Laser, Sonic can also bounce off them as if they were a reflective surface.

Gray Quake: Using the power of a Grey Wisp Sonic transforms into a grey iron ball with yellow eyes. As the Gray Quake, Sonic's body density is greatly increased, making him so heavy that jumping or falling down on the ground can create destructive shockwaves. The Gray Quake also possesses wall-crawling abilities, allowing Sonic to scale walls.

Indigo Asteroid: Using the power of a Indigo Wisp Sonic turns into a orb-shaped body with striped indigo skin and a matching planetary ring encircling his middle. As the Indigo Asteroid, Sonic essentially becomes a miniature planet with a strong gravitational field. Sonic is as such capable of creating a powerful gravitational pull around himself, strong enough to tear all kinds of objects to pieces and pull them into the Asteroid Ring. Additionally, the gathered matter can be used to empower the gravitational pull. The Indigo Asteroid also grants Sonic the ability to levitate through midair.

Ivory Lightning: Using the power of a Ivory Wisp Sonic transforms into a living, straw-colored lightning bolt. As the Ivory Lightning, Sonic gains the same properties as that of a real lightning bolt. Associated with this form, Sonic can move at lightning-fast speeds and with acrobatic movements as living electricity. Sonic also obtains electrokinetic abilities in this form, giving him the ability to either form treads of electricity that he can use to either electrocute enemies or connect himself to targets as tethers.

Orange Rocket: Using the power of a Orange Wisp Sonic into a stubby orange rocket with six fins arranged in a regular hexagon on the rear. As the Orange Rocket, Sonic can create powerful jet propulsion from his back to launch himself forward through midair at staggering speeds.

Pink Spikes: Using the power of a Pink Wisp Sonic turns into a hot pink spiky ball. As the Pink Spikes, Sonic gains long, razor-sharp and extremely durable spikes on his body. By inserting these spikes into a surface, Sonic can stick perfectly firm to any surface, allowing him to climb up walls and along ceilings. The spikes can also be used offensively by using them to pierce opponents. It can also be used to augment the Spin Dash, making it much more powerful than normal.

Purple Frenzy: Using the power of a Purple Wisp Sonic the user turn turns into a flowing purple, demonic-looking chomper that constantly gives off a dark and thick aura. As the Purple Frenzy, Sonic gains a powerful jaw that can chew and consume any matter he bites off and add it to his own mass, allowing the Purple Frenzy to grow larger for each bite until reaching maximum size. When reaching maximum size, the Purple Frenzy also gains a suction breath that lets Sonic suck in smaller objects not too heavy or rooted to the ground.

Red Burst: Using the power of a Red Wisp Sonic turns into a red fireball that constantly gives off an aura of flames. As the Red Burst, Sonic obtains limited pyrokinetic abilities. Sonic can form a shield of flames around himself that instantly incinerates anything it touches, and he can create explosions of fire by combusting into flames without inflicting harm on himself. These explosions can be channeled to shoot Sonic higher into the air or be charged up to trigger large-scale and powerful explosions that destroy nearly anything within its range. In addition, Sonic's speed increases while using Red Burst.

Violet Void: Using the power of a Violet Wisp Sonic turns into a large, ghastly and smoky black orb with violet outlines. As the Violet Void, Sonic essentially becomes a living black hole which can draw objects into himself from a distance and make them vanish into a void within him. However, the user cannot drawn in objects that are too big or heavy. Because of the Violet Void smoke-like makeup, Sonic is granted limited intangibility, allowing him to pass through certain obstacles unharmed. As the Violet Void, Sonic is also capable of flight through mid-air. Like the Purple
Frenzy, the Violet Void can add the mass of the objects they draw into them, allowing Sonic to grow larger the more he consumes until they reach maximum size.

Yellow Drill: Using the power of a Yellow Wisp Sonic turns into a yellow spiral drill. As the Yellow Drill, Sonic can burrow and tunnel underground at remarkable high speeds and can be applied underwater, allowing Sonic to move through water like a living torpedo.

Final Color Blaster: Sonic gathers all the color Wisps around himself, and uses their combined Hyper Go-On Energy to greatly enhance his attacks in a rainbow aura.

Tails

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Flight, Genius Intelligence, Highly skilled pilot and mechanic, Skilled in hand-to-hand combat, Healing and Forcefield creation via machines, shapeshifting and gravity manipulation via Color Powers Energy Projection

Attack Potency: Likely Small City level (Not as strong Sonic or other beings, but not too far off from their power, as his gadgets can also make him stronger) | City level (Overpowered GUN's drones and the Eggwalker) | At least Large Planet level

Tails:

Tail Swipe: Tails does a 360° spin, lashing out with his twin tails to damage any enemies in front of him.

Super Tail Swipe: Tails performs a Tail Swipe at high speeds, forming a large, light blue wave as his tails are swung increasing his attack range.

Rapid Tails Attack: An advanced form of the Tail Swipe move where Tails performs a chain of continuous Tail Swipes in rapid succession.

Tornado Attack: Tails performs a Tail Swipe at such incredible speeds and force that it forms air currents around him, making him resemble a mini tornado.

Spin Attack: Tails curls into a ball while rolling along the ground.

Spin Jump: A variant of Spin Dash used to attack enemies mid-jump.

Spin Dash: Tails rolls in place to charge up, then dashes forward at high speed in ball form.

Dummy Ring Bomb: Tails throws several dummy rings that explode on impact.

Dummy Ring Snipe: Tails throws a single dummy ring after aiming.

Dummy Ring Blitz: Tails throws a box filled with dummy rings from the air that explode and release several dummy rings that explode on contact.

Tails Heal: Tails utilizes a healing machine in order to recover from damage.

Magic Hook: Tails uses the Magic Hand to deliver a punch at opponents. The Magic Hand appears to be a boxing glove attached to a spring-like object, allowing him to swing the invention around his body before hitting the opponent.

Energy Ball: Tails summons the Energy ball, a red arm cannon, and shoots a yellow sphere-shaped energy projectile at the opponent.

Flick: Tails summons the Big Hand, a large, gloved hand, which appears from underground to flick opponents.

Chu² Bomb: Tails summons a mouse-shaped bomb which runs on the ground and actively seeks out opponents.
Color Powers:

Gear:

Miles Electric: A multi-functional electronic handheld device that serves as Tails and his allies' most frequently used gadget and tool. It is like an advanced hand-held computer that possesses several advanced functionalities, including video communication and radar operation for detecting hostile targets. It can as well interface with Tornado-1, essentially turning it into a control panel for the bi-plane. In Sonic Colors, Tails upgraded the Miles Electric into an alien translator, allowing it to translate Wisp language, albeit only into binary code, meaning only Tails could read it.

Cyclone: The Cyclone is a Tornado-style mech resembling the Tornado 2. The Cyclone most noticeably has three alternate modes which it can reconfigure its structure into: a plane mode, a walker mode, and a cart mode. In plane mode, it becomes a rocket-powered monoplane. In walker mode, it becomes a bipedal mech suited for combat. In cart mode, it becomes a four-wheeled cart which can drive at high speeds. The Cyclone is one of Tails' most powerful creations, capable of overpowering all kinds of robot drones belonging to GUN and can even overpower Dr. Eggman's Eggwalker. It is armed with various weapons, including the Volkan Cannon mini-gun, a laser target, a grabbling hook, and two kinds of missile launchers which can either shoot homing missiles at locked targets or missile barrages. Its most potent weapon however, is a large multi-colored laser which it can fire from the front.

Medi Bot: Tails deploys a robot that heals him and his allies.

Shield Bot: Tails deploys a robot that generates a forcefield.

Bombs: Tails carries several diffrent types of bombs, such as regular bombs, napalm bombs, Chu2 bombs, Dummy Ring bombs and flash grenades.

Mario
Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Versatility, Magic, Pyrokinesis without Fire Flower (in some games),electrokinesis (very slight only has one attack with electricity), Enhanced Jumping skills, Skilled hammer wielder, Time Travel, flip between dimensions, Shares a telepathic bond with Luigi, Various Power-ups such as the Mushroom which grows the user in size, The Fire Flower gives Mario Pyrokinesis, The Mega Mushroom grows the user to gigantic proportions, The Starman grants the user Near Invincibility, The Ice Flower grants Cyrokinesis, The Cape Feather (and several other powerups) grants him Flight, many other abilities, including Transmutation, Animal Manipulation, Size Manipulation, Intangibility, Invisibility, Stat Buffing/Debuffing, Metal Manipulation, Earth Manipulation, Time Manipulation, Cloud Manipulation, Duplication, etc.

Attack Potency: Ranges from Small City level (Casually punted Larry's castle in Super Mario World) to Large Star level (Regularly fights and defeats Bowser who can survive a supernova), possibly Multi-Solar System/galactic level, universal, or higher(Capable of fighting Bowser being powered by different artifacts and other beings such as Culex around these levels)

Speed: Massively Hypersonic (Capable of dodging lightning), near the speed of light (capable of maintaining this speed after being fired from a canon) to Massively FTL+ (Can quickly travel between different galaxies with Launch Star. Dodged attacks from a Grand Star-powered Bowser, who can tag Starship Mario and flew the center of the universe in a short time.)

Lifting Strength: (Effortlessly lifted a castle which weighs 48,314,641.39 tons), certain power-ups like Mega Mushroom increase his strength even further

Striking Strength: Varies. Ranges 2.791 megatons(Casually punts Larry's castle) to possibly Multi-Solar System Class, or higher

Durability: Varies. Ranges from Small City level to Large Star level, possibly Multi-Solar System/galactic level, or higher (survived the collapse/destruction of a universe from the chaos heart)

Range: Depends on the power up. Standard melee range to extended melee range with hammer at least several dozen meters with power-ups and super scope.

Standard Equipment: Hammer, F.L.U.D.D, and various power-up, badges, and items.

Intelligence: Fairly intelligent (is known to possess a doctorate and several other occupations. He's also an experienced plumber and combatant expert)

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

Jump: Mario jumps on his opponent and crushes him/her with sheer strength. He can perform various jump techniques:

Spin Jump: Mario spins while jumping, allowing him to jump on spiky enemies and hazards such as buzzsaws. This move can also allow Mario to hover, slowly descend, deflect projectiles, and clear fogs and smoke. Using this move with the Fire or Ice Flower with make Mario scatter fireballs or ice balls in multiple directions.

Drill Spin: After using a Spin Jump or spinning in air, Mario will descend and spin much faster in a drill-like fashion with tremendous force. This attack does double damage on spiky enemies.

Super Jump Punch: Mario strikes the target multiple times with a punch while jumping.

Super Jump: Mario will jump multiple times on a single enemy at a quick rate. He can do this up to 100 times in a row.

Ultra Jump: This attack is not only more powerful than Super Jump, but it can attack multiple enemies at once.

Flip: Taught by Bestovius in Super Paper Mario. Mario flips into a realm called the "3D dimension", rendering attack from enemies in the 2D realm useless and vice versa if he is in the 2D realm.

Pyrokinesis: Mario can manipulate fire and perform various fire techniques without a fire flower in some games. Some of his techniques includes

Fireball: Mario will shoot a ball of fire from his hands. In Mario Kart: Double Dash, he can shoot up to five of them at once.
Firebrand: Taught by the Fire God. Mario charges fire energy in his palm and unleashes an explosive blast of flame on the enemies in close range. The fireballs from this move can be accumulated into a huge fireball for Mario to spike down on the target, inflicting a burn status upon the opponent.

Super Flame: Mario unleashes a barrage of large powerful fireballs from his fist.

Fire Swing: Mario swings the weapon so fast that it catches on fire and then strikes the target with it. The target is then cloaked in fire afterward.

Fire Strike: Mario's Super Strike. He strikes the target with such speed and force, the receiving end will catch fire.

Fiery Metal Mario: Mario's Mega Strike. He jumps incredibly high in the air, turning into a fiery Metal Mario and then delivers a kick that has tremendous re-entry force.

Iron Hammer: Mario summons a giant iron hammer and hits the target with it. The force from the hit is powerful enough to leave a blazing trail on the target.

Magic Weapon: Mario forges a weapon of pure energy in shape of a hockey stick. It's only seen in Mario Sports Mix in a battle against the Behemoth.

Mario/Dr. Tornado: Mario horizontally spins like a tornado, trapping opponents in a series of hits if they get caught.

Battle Cards: Mario can utilize cards with special effects to give himself an advantage in battle. Effects can range from increase his attack, defense, and speed, doing the exact opposite to his opponent, recovering health, nullifying damage, or stopping time.

Spin Drill: Mario uses a drill to directly pierce through planets, dirt, and enemies on his way (cannot drill through hard/un-drillable surfaces)

Power-ups: Mario can use several items which grant him several forms with special abilities which are stated in this list:

Fire Mario: Shoots fireballs of different sizes. The biggest ones are usually bigger than him.

Cape Mario: Float, fly, create earthquake by slamming the ground, slow descent, reflect objects and spin at enemies.

star Mario: increased speed and invincibilty.

Superstar Mario: Similar to Cape Mario with additional super speed and invincibility

Tanooki Mario: Grows a tail to attack with, turn into an invincible statue, and fly

Raccoon Mario: Similar to Tanooki Mario but without the ability to turn into a statue.

Hammer Mario: Throw hammers and block fire when ducking

Metal Mario: Invincibility, destruction of enemies, walking underwater, no need for air for a few seconds

Vanish Mario: Intangibility and invisibility for a few seconds

Boo Mario: Can float, go through walls, turn invisible, and attract Boos

Ice Mario: Freeze obstacles such as water or lava upon contact for some seconds(Super Mario Galaxy). Also shoot ice balls that can freeze enemies, fireballs, magical attacks(New Super Mario Bros Wii), and reduces their speed, defense, and attack power(Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time).

blue shell: When ducking, Shell Mario is invulnerable to almost anything, can Shell Dash.

Mega Mario: Break almost anything, defeat enemies on contact, invincibility for a few seconds

Rock Mario: Encases Mario in a rock, making him able to crush enemies and granting the ability to destroy red crystals (who are harder than normal crystals)

Rainbow Mario: Invincibility, super speed, gain star bits, break objects, long jump, higher jump

White Tanooki Mario: This is basically the same item as the
Tanooki leaf but with one major difference; it grants Mario Starman's one-hit kill ability, it also lacks the Starman's time limit so Mario is always in star/rainbow mode while using this item.

White Raccoon Mario: Similar to the White Tanooki power-up, with the only difference being it's appearance and ability to walk on water.

Gold Mario: Fires enormous gold fireballs that creates a shockwave explosion on contact instantly killing enemies and turning them into coins. It has also shown to increase attack damage and resistances to opponents attacks

Cat Mario: Grants the ability to climb walls, scratch enemies with claws, perform a dive bomb attack and increase sprint speed. It has a variant called Lucky Cat Mario, where it has all of the same abilities and the additional power to turn into a gold invincible statue that has the Starman's one hit kill ability

Double Mario: Mario creates a clone of himself. He can spawn up to five of them.

Sticker/card album: contains stickers/cards which contain many types of attacks and or summonable objects (ex: Cloned Mario, baa-hammer, burn-hammer, chill-hamer, shell, spike ball, wrench, snowball, barrel, boomerang, ninja star, bone, sombrero, bomb, and thing stickers/cards, cards can summon enemies)

crystal stars: created by the Shadow Queen to hold the essence of the heavens can create a planet and have abilities. (earth tremor, clock out, power lift, art attack, sweet feast, show stopper, supernova)

pure hearts: Able to stop the power of the Chaos Heart (which had the power to destroy multiple universes) , Healing, breaking powerful shields, revitalizing dimensions and its inhabitants, empower the wielder exponentially, open doors to other dimensions, can be called upon from any location if intense emotions are shown (love), all eight can be combined to create the Purity Heart. only works with Mario, Luigi, peach, and bowser.

royal stickers/kersti: empower the user with great power and healing abilities.(all six together can grant a wish)

sticker star: grants any wish (can turn into royal stickers)

star rod: empower the user and can grant any wish.

Standard Equipment: Hammer, Poltergust 3000/5000 (A vacuum which captures ghosts and capable of getting people), and various power up.

Intelligence: less than Mario in combat, but is a combatant expert and an experienced plumber. He recently became a doctor as well.

Weaknesses: usually cowardly and clumsy. Has a phobia of ghosts.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

Thunderhand: Taught by the Thunder God. Luigi's gathers lightning in his hand and discharges it at the target for critical damage which can lower defense and attack power. There's a similar variant used in his Megastrike called "Thunder Luigi" which has a re-entry effect upon the object he strikes his lightning with.

Super Jump: Crouches down and rocket jumps into the air, damaging anything in his path. He has a similar variant called

Super Jump Punch that delivers a powerful flaming uppercut in the first strike.

Green Missile: After charging up, he horizontally launches himself while exploding his target on contact.

Fireballs: Luigi shoots green fireballs that can defy gravity. He can launch up to five at once in Mario Kart: Double Dash.

Luigi Cyclone: Luigi can make a cyclone by throwing(Tornado Ball), kicking (Vortex Luigi), swinging a weapon at an object(Tornado
Swing), or horizontally spinning himself.

Negative Zone: Luigi creates a zone with varying negative effects to his opponents such as slowing down, continuous damage, broken defenses, or falling asleep.

Magic Weapon: Luigi forges a weapon of pure energy in shape of a hockey stick. It's only seen in Mario Sports Mix in a battle against the Behemoth.

Battle Cards: Luigi can utilize cards with special effects to give himself an advantage in battle. Effects can range from increasing his attack, defense, and speed, doing the exact opposite to his opponent, recovering health, nullifying damage, or stopping time.

Spin Drill: Luigi uses a drill to directly pierce through planets, dirt and enemies on his way (cannot drill through hard/un-drillable surfaces)

Power-ups: Luigi can use several items which grant him several forms with special abilities

Lol I just realized something. Sonic fans say that time travel would end Mario but that is clearly wrong. Well I'm here to debunk this statement.

If you look closely at the cutscenes, Sonic does time travel but again the portal does not shut immediately. Plus, in some of the Sonic 06 cutscenes, more characters can go in the time travel portal at once! So Mario can jump in the portal as well.

Now, some Sonic fans say that Mario would have no time to save himself if he were to get in the portal with Sonic cause apparently Sonic can kill baby Mario immediately once he gets in the portal...

Wrong. In Sonic 06 he had to go through many obstacles before finding the person he was looking for. And though Sonic is faster than Mario, that doesn't mean Mario can't keep up. Mario has reached at high speeds before. Plus, if Sonic somehow did manage to get there before Mario, baby Mario can defend himself too. Kamek even stated that baby Mario and baby Luigi have extraordinary power so they could fend him for a little bit till Future Mario comes to finish Sonic off. Hell, even Mario had time traveled to fix the past too, look at the very end of the credits in Yoshi's New Island. Speaking of Yoshi's, The Yoshi's would protect Mario at all costs which is another way that Mario would eventually keep up and end Sonic.
Also Sonic CD doesn't make a difference either. Sonic had to touch time posts in order to time travel which can't happen again since that giant Robotnik world thing was destroyed. So if you guys ever have trouble with a Sonic fanboy, please show him this. Cause this post will truly debunk their claim.
