PET-Art. A use for your green plastic soda pop bottles.
Adafruit Industries originally shared:

Veronika Richterová PET-ART Sculptures #ArtTuesday
https://blog.adafruit.com/2015/05/05/veronika-richterova-pet-art-sculptures-arttuesday/

From Veronika Richterová’s website via Colossal

When I found out quite by accident that PET bottles deformed by heat, I decided to create one sculpture. Then it occurred to me that the technique could call pet-art. I understood not just as one of my artistic experiments and I had no idea that my pet bottles become fatal for many years. Since 2004, I have used thousands of plastic bottles and created several hundred objects, to which I have developed a number of specific methods of technological processing.

A little something that I made.  I am always keeping my eye out for Coca Cola items.
https://chicbyangelique.wordpress.com/2015/05/04/coca-cola-serving-tiers/
While perusing the dishes at the thrift store, hunting for teacups & saucers, I came across a set of Coca Cola dinnerware and serving dishes.  My first thought was...Cool!  After sticker shock ...

Great use of fence panels and drawers to benefit wildlife. They need a place to sleep as well.

It would also be helpful if we'll also teach our kids about the household products we're using; how toxic and dangerous they are and to our environment and that proper hazardous waste disposal is very important.
Here are ways to show your kids the benefits of recycling and composting, and what happens to their "stuff" when it gets thrown away.

Garbage for tickets - a very attractive and healthy way of promoting environmental friendly in #China

1. Tourists display the garbage they collected in order to exchange for free tickets.
2. A tourist picks up the litter as she tours the scenic spot.

The vast amount of garbage that accumulates with large crowds is a huge headache for scenic spots, especially during the public holidays. It is not easy to clean up after so many people. So why not set them up to clean up after themselves?

In order to overcome the problem, a canyon in Enshi, Hubei province decided to hand out free plastic bags with cute patterns printed on them, so tourists can collect a kilogram of garbage in exchange for a free ticket to their live show. The scheme was well-received and successful.

Sharing to you more about China - https://plus.google.com/+DannyDanD/posts
