If one wishes to forget, to utterly unravel the well made cloth, you must unravel it until the threads are left and set them on fire and damn the memory that it existed forever, to the very trace of it until it reaches the very embers of the mind, to simply erase them from existing, to the persons whose single droplet of blood did not happen.

This is what damnatio memoriae is in simplicity despite the complexity to do so.

Give me a minute and I'm good, an hour and I'm great, a day and I will know every single movement may do. Give me time's fleeting moment... and you may question the shadow you cast be your own... or your enemy's.

when you enter the pangs of conflict, be them words or the most chaotic melee, enter it with a mindset not to dominate, but to utterly decimate until their very souls cry out from the pain, but be careful never to lose your mind lest you become trapped within the very walls of your own conflict.

"kill a man, but you can never kill the idea. destroy a being, ten more shall take its place"

There is no absolution or forgiveness, just degrees of guilt and sin.

You hear the very curdling scream yet you refuse to turn your stiff necked head.

You witness your own blood on your hands yet you say your integrity burns well!

The daggers behind your back, rusty and blood soaked, tell of your tale!

if what was asked was sacrifice, then what would you, a person unchanged and unfazed by fate, would be willing to let go to save what you seek?

As I fight for one last prayer
I keep holding on
No love to believe in
As I drag the Devil down
I will stand alone
No longer defeated

the struggle for supremacy within the mind ends in two ways, you either feel the searing scar or you descend into the rampant state where the most deepest of solace does not comfort you. there is no middle ground.
