"Where in the Rhine are we?"

Can't have a Rhine Valley campaign without a map. I crashed a few Googled images to work up a rough hexmap for my campaign. I still need to work it and add locations, etc., but this gives the Boatman a sense of what's-what.

The hex scale is 31 miles at the widest point.

The concluding episode of our first Zweihander advenutre, Escape the Noose, is now available. More Zweihander concept will be coming to the show real soon.

Player's wife wanted in on my Zweihander campaign as well, bringing it up to a nice four (4) PCs. She rolled up a Jailer, which she found awesome because her husband teases her about her housekeys and calls her a jailer.

Herta the jailer just killed both mutants attacking a neighboring boat, inflicting criticals on both before ending their Chaos-tainted lives.

My little Zweihander campaign is moving along nicely. It looks like I'll have added a 3rd player for the upcoming session this Sunday. The Players successfully concluded "A Lover Lost" (Warpstone 15, Winter 2000-2001) last weekend. I'd moved the adventure setting to grim & perilous Europe, circa 1630 and the Thirty Years' War, in Cologne.

Part of the hook for the scenario was the offer of a "delicious reward" from a possibly nonsensical Kislevite (Moscovite now) merchant. With the successful resolution of the adventure by Johann Boatman, it turns out the Staller-Radovich merchant alliance is going to happen. Reward for Johann and his new crew turns out to be a riverboat, and a job to ferry some goods to Amsterdam (up the Rhine).

Easy hook for the Player / PC, of course. He wants to go Boatman - Buccaneer - Pistolier, and it certainly makes sense in character. Who else would Staller and Radovich trust than the man who saved them, after all.

Additionally, I want to get the party to Amsterdam, where I'm recasting the start of The Thousand Throne campaign (from Marienburg). As an old WHFRP GM, it's nice to get use of my Death on the Reik / River Life of the Empire materials.

It's not much to look at, and pretty sparse, but the Obsidian Portal campaign site for my little Zweihander campaign is chugging along.

You can get all of our episodes through iTunes and Stitcher as well.

Wanted to edit & re-organise the bookmarks from the 150DPI version. But I see it's a secured PDF so I can't :/

Possible to get an unsecured copy? I dislike the current bookmarks structure and want to flatten it.

The indentation of Chapter 3 is off, wanted to fix all of that as well.

Episode 2 of our new Zweihander campaign is now available. Paul, the GM, designed the adventure to feature various aspects of the rules as we are all new to the system. In this episode we try out the chase rules and spend our first fortune point!
