I'll let it run until some time Monday.  So far it seems like most people want bad effects and new monsters to stop the walking, while most people want to continue walking through heal events and loss of a buff.  Whether new items should stop a walk is split nearly down the middle.

New version moved to beta just now.  This brings the inventory management screen into beta testing, and is a major step forward in preparing the game for more types of items.
