Going through some of the old reviews again it was interesting to see that "Kung Fu Hustle"was clearly more popular than "Shaolin Soccer". I do enjoy Kung Fu Hustle quite a bit but Shaolin Soccer always hold a special place in my heart mostly for the offbeat comedy moments plus the fact that some of the scenes hold up incredibly well considering how old the film is:-). If you get the chance take a look at the Shaolin Soccer review and let me know do you still think Kung Fu Hustle is the better of the two or do you feel like playing some soccer :-). Thanks everyone :-). https://youtu.be/eZXDV7XSMxc

As most of us know today is the day that we lost the legend known as Bruce Lee! I've watched Enter the Dragon twice but my mind kept going back to the review I did about Edge of Fury=https://youtu.be/hmn9sYDlp6o

I know some people look down on these films quite a bit and I'm sure the studios were just looking to make money off of Bruce's Legacy. But I also like to Hope and think that maybe a few of the people involved were thinking of this as more of a tribute to him by trying to keep the legend alive and well :-). What's your opinion? Please let me know :-).

Kung Fu Kritic here with one thing to say.. "Who the Hell is interrupting my Kung Fu!" :-). What a fantastic line from the film Black Dynamite :-). Not alot of people got to see this review, it came out during a transitional period when I was trying to get my account resettled so I figured why not repost it in case you didn't get the chance to check it out :-). Michael Jai White is fantastic in this film epitomizing all of the quarks & usual tropes of a film released in the 70s with the physical build and attributes that can handle the over-the-top Kung Fu action :-). I hope you can give the review a watch if you didn't get the chance and then sit down with this rollercoaster of a Fu Film :-). https://youtu.be/Lf1UmXwktPA

Kung Fu Kritic here and happy to share one of my favorite earlier reviews :-). Covering the cult classic the "Five Deadly Venom's" :-). If you have not seen this film you're really missing out on one of the top Kung Fu films ever released along with the 36th chamber of Shaolin this film seems to always fight for that top spot of best ever :-). I know some of you might not have had the chance to check out the review so I'm hoping you will give it a look and then maybe take a seat and watch this epic unfold :-). https://youtu.be/7l_3gRGHhg0

Hsing-i Water

In Xingyi Water (Zuan), the front hand first goes from palm upward then overturns to palm downward block, as one would overturn a cup of water. This is then passed and collected by the rear hand rooted below the ground and strikes with a spurting energy springing upward while stepping forward.

This is the root platform from which the springing rising hand strikes in an uppercut.

The beginning downward block is followed by a stepping uppercut. This change of direction aids the penetration through the opponent's reaction and energy.
