Made my first pole arm based on some advice, ingenuity, and rereading the marshal handbook.

From my years as a combat archer Ive grown accustomed to using strapping tape. This thing is surely overkill on the safety gauge.

Special thanks the Vlad Iliescu and John Hutchings . #SCA #Combat #DIY

For anyone into Norse, Latvian, or Baltic metal adornments, this is an amazing resource. The author, Daumants Kalnins, is also happy to answer questions if you email him. Lots of information on techniques, symbolism, and cultural significance. I highly recommend it!!
