Here's a new image I made of nasty tonsils.

This is the first time I've tried out Astropad (it allows you to connect an iPad to a MacBook wirelessly or wired, so you can use it like a Wacom Cintiq) with Photoshop for example.

With the Pencil, it's definitely a game-changer as far the iPad Pro goes. I can't see myself using my Wacom Intuos 3 again.

Here's a gallery of some medical illustrations I've made for the application I design.

I began each illustration by collecting a few references and combined them in Photoshop. In Illustrator I use a combination of the pen tool and blob brush (with a Wacom tablet) for the lines and shading. For the last image (inside the mouth), I used a combination of the above with the gradient mesh tool.

Technical issues aside, I feel the most challenging aspect was finding a pleasing color palette. I'm happy with how they've turned out.

If anyone would like to see wireframes or has questions about my process, I'm happy to show and tell. :)
