Want to take a Makerspace workshop from our very own Caitlin Ahearn? Or maybe learn more about teaching engineering in elementary school? Maybe you've always wanted to learn about microcontrollers (Arduino) or programming in Scratch. Come to our STEM Educators Summit, May 7, 2016, 8:30 -4, at UNH-Manchester! Registration is $25 (some scholarships are available), and the link is below. Contact me for more information (laura.nickerson-at-unh.com).

Another free resource I found today: Raspberry Pi's magazine for educators.

NH Maker Ed - At UNH we are looking into several grants to help us provide PD for teachers, and my personal passion is for coding, making and engineering (and physics). I'd love some input from you:

What workshops/courses, etc. would you want to be able to take as a maker educator? Where in the state would be the most helpful? What workshops have you been to that were helpful?

Thanks for any info you can give!

And having posted the magazine link, I had to add this as well.
We are looking into hosting Raspberry Pi workshops at UNH and UNH-M, maybe starting in the fall. Would any of you be interested?

From the NHSTE listserve: The Corning Museum of Glass has a live glassblowing from their "hot shop" from 1-4 pm EST this week. I popped in for a few minutes and it's really neat!

Is there a way to collect all of a student's scores/grades from different classes and make a "report card"?
