Question about dry hopping:

How much is too much?

Brewed a black Ipa on Saturday and ordered extra hops this time for second batch of this beer. It's a 10 gal batch and I have 10 oz of extra hops. I'm using a hop canister that fits in a corney keg in my fermenter. I've already put 6 oz at high krausen, so I'm left with 4 more oz. Should I be worried about using that much hops for dry hopping?

My wife likes session IPA's. Assuming I want to maintain the hop profile of a previous brew, should I reduce my hop additions, or use the same amount?

I'm leaning toward the latter, but I thought I'd solicit some opinions. Thanks!

I have a smaller march pump that was in a ice chest, that I have adopted and used for the past 2 years, but I think it is time for an upgrade - got the Blichmann Riptide - disclosure "I don't work for them, they are not paying my anything", just like it...

After much research, decided on this clone ... Thanks for all the input...

I was sitting around with a bunch of my clubbies and we came upon the idea of everyone making Big Ass Super Stouts for our Holiday party in January. We call it #BASS. Everyone has been busy making their beers over the past month or so we will have about 15 big stouts to try. #BASS
