Amazon has a new service call Amazon Video Direct. It's almost like Youtube. Adding videos to Amazon is not as easy as YouTube. Also not as fast. If you are lucky you might get you video up in about 16 hours. Or it might take from about 3 day to as long as 2 weeks. It seems to be a manual review process . I think someone looks at your video before it goes online. I will try to post a full report on my experience with it later.

Angelocracy is now on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/dp/B01G2KO3LI/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_fFusxb1NZR3JC

YouTube Tip number 178. If you can not get the youtube url you want. Of if you were like me and just picked a random url. You can buy your own domain name and have it redirect to your youtube channel like I did. www.angelocracy.com  . I did not buy my domain name from Google. But Google does sell domain names. Domain names are cheap. You can get one that easy to remember and show or say the link in your videos.

What kind of video camera do you need for YouTube? Do you need to spend 4 to 5 hundred dollars on a camera . Most people will be able to get by will just a good smartphone that shoots in 720p or better. If you are doing a vlog ,  product reviews, stuff like that. Grace Helbig  like videos. Makeup and fashion stuff. A smartphone should be ok. If doing fast moving stuff like sport videos, or far away stuff you will something better. But most people will be ok with a good smartphone. You also want a camera that you can always have you and take anywhere. You might not be able to do that with a big high end camera. With a smartphone always shoot in landscape. If you don't the video will look small and just suck on YouTube.  And it is best to put phone on a tripod. A tripod will let you have both hands free for doing product reviews and other stuff. A tripod will let you be free to move around doing the video.
