After the International Day of Peace celebrations, middle school advisories at ASIJ made peace flags  and a sign which were used during a recent community meeting to show support for the five international school communities that were impacted by the mall shooting in Nairobi, Kenya that occurred on Sept. 21, 2013 (same day as peace day).

Middle school students at The American School in Japan celebrated the International Day of Peace with the red ball activity from the organization, Play for Peace. This was lead by the Adventure Leadership elective at ASIJ. -Peace

Peace One Day 2013 is broadcasting a live 24-hour concert.  Music is such a wonderful way to celebrate peace...maybe invite some friends over for a dance party in the name of PEACE!
