What does this mean? Device isn't rooted and the bootloader isn't unlocked?

Has anyone received this notification on their phone? I went into my Google account via my computer to change my password. I wouldn't do it on my phone because I don't know if someone was trying to compromise my phone or account.

can't load cards

Google Fi. This is bogus. What gives. I'm just going to cancel my fi service to get my google voice number back.

The ability to use one number across multiple platforms regardless of carrier is indispensable, and shutting that down for Fi users is a

MAJOR STEP BACKWARD. WHY would you do that?

Tried to sign up for Fi this morning, and it rejected my PayPal Business Debit card. I have a Nexus 5X that I purchased specifically to get on Fi, but was distracted by the unbelievably cheap service from RingPlus. Sadly, it was too good to be true - RingPlus never achieved launch speed and has shut down. So I tried to sign up for Fi, and it rejected my only card - my PayPal Business Debit card, calling it a "prepaid" card and rejecting it.

Is there anyone on here from Fi would could fix this issue? I have no credit cards at all as I don't like debt (un-American, I know) and the Fi site is the ONLY time my card has been rejected.

Maybe this question has been answered before, but I haven't found anything after several searches. I've been using the Hangouts/Project Fi integration for SMS, but I'd now like to switch back to a regular SMS app(most likely Textra, or the AOSP messenger). Is there any way to back up my Project Fi messages from Hangouts (which aren't stored like standard SMS in my system) and restore them to a normal SMS app? I have a Nexus 5X, if that makes any difference.

Hello all! Question about that "Google VPN" on open wifi? Does your phone show a icon or notification when that service is active? I'm not sure if it's active or not (and I'd like to be sure).

That VPN was a big selling point for me, I expected it would replace the OpenVPN server (with tasker implementation for open wifi) I had running on my last phone.

Anyone have any issues with a delay happening during a call? For example, I will speak but the other party doesn't hear it immediately, they'll hear it several seconds later. It appears to only happen over cellular networks, Wifi calling has been fine.

I just pulled a new Nexus 5x out of the box. It downloaded the 7.1.1 update but the phone info, from settings, is still showing Android 6 with last security update from 2015... scary. Update screen is saying phone is up-to-date. Is the lack of updating a product of being on Project Fi? Is the 1.2GB package for 7.1.1 sitting on my phone somewhere? If so how do I remove those bits if they're not going to be used?

Hello! Just joined the project. Been on file for about 12 hours. Ran into an issue this morning where phone posted an error of "can't call". Tower signal was strong. Is this a common issue?
