Would You Believe Simply Selling More Cases is a Recipe for Failure?

Volume based incentives have been around since the very dawn of sales. It’s goes without saying: sell more product, earn a bonus. If you’re meeting your volume goals, but your margins are shrinking, maybe it’s time to rethink your sales incentive strategy. It may seem counter-intuitive, but in +Tim Jones latest blog post, he explains why it’s much more effective to focus sales incentives on leading indicators as opposed to lagging ones like depletions.  #depletionreporting #3tiersystem #beveragesuppliers

Enjoy your dessert with Aleatico by Giuliani

The Rosso 16 team presents a wine from his selection

Today we speak about a sweet wine perfect as dessert: Aleatico by winery Giuliani.

Giuliani makes Aleatico DOC with the characteristic italian grape after a prolonged maceration on the peel. This garnet red wine impresses with its light scent and it tastes sweet, very rich and mellow.

There are two variety of Aleatico, one from Elba and one from Apulia. Thanks to the warm climate of southern Italy, Aleatico from Apulia tastes sweeter and richer in flavor than those from Elba. So it is perfect to be served as dessert and with dry pastries.

We have already spoke of Giuliani winery but we like to remember that the  whole cycle of wine production is controlled with care and great passion from the hand made grape-harvesting to the wine-making in order to obtain wines of quality. The cycle ends with the bottling, carefully made by the oenologist Luca Petrelli and the agronomist Vito Donato Giuliani.
