Super easy project for beginners! Took me only 45 min to whip this up.
This year I'm challenging myself to make my older daughter's complete wardrobe. I know I'll eventually get all her cousins' hand-me-downs, but I'd like for those to be fillers for her mostly handmade wardrobe. So I haven't bugged my sister-in-law for any summer clothes yet.

Hello there, fellow sewers

I am new to sewing, and found this great Washi dress pattern by Rae.  This was my first Washi dress.  I used a blue linen-cotton blend, and the liner was a bedsheet I bought from Target but never used.  I created a belt as well to add more definition to the waist.  So far I love the dress, and will be making more.  Thanks for viewing, everyone!  :)

Even though my newest car seat canopy turned out nice it was such undertaking. I have never put this much effort into a hobby that is such a constant struggle for me. It's such a mystery as to why I love doing it do much. I hope my next project goes smoother.  Let me know what you think. Pointing, laughing and mocking are encouraged! ;)

This is my second shirt make and the third is already cut out waiting to go!
Shirts are such an essential piece of clothing for your wardrobe at the moment because they are so easy for you to wear now, either on their own with jeans

Don't throw out last year's worn-out jeans: up-cycle them into a funky pair of shorts for summer. It's about as easy as tripping over your shoe laces!
My Emi is a terror with his trousers. They're always worn out before they're outgrown. And the real disaster zone is the knees. The other bits are mostly fine, but the knees, especially the left knee areas, are always shredde...
