Mini Lesson videos available on the SMART EARS community
Just a quick note to let you know there is also a new SMART EARS community -- there are some mini lessons for babies posted there. Join us there as well as on this community

I'm delighted that we have more and more people joining this community!  Share something about yourself or your child with the group and where you are from!   We have people from various parts of the world in this group and would love to hear about your experiences with learning to listen and talk in your country

What questions do you have about listening and talking? Post them here and I will try and answer them!

You learn to listen by listening, and you learn to talk by talking. So remember to have your child listen and talk throughout the day -- even though in the beginning you may not understand what your child is saying by responding verbally to whatever he/she says

Hi everyone -- see some uploaded new content as well as links to mini baby lessons for parents to use.

Hello everyone -- We are working hard to ensure that EVDC site is translated into a variety of languages -- we are looking for Spanish and Mandarin.  In order to help with this effort, I ask all those who shop with Amazon to choose Equal Voice for Deaf Children as their charity of choice. Amazon will donate 0.5% of all your purchases to EVDC ! The funds will help us pay for translation into other languages. Thanks in advance.

Every parent has questions and often the little day to day problems are the ones that get in the way far more than the big stuff. So feel free to ask for help here!   Please make sure to give as much information as you can to and we will do our best to answer your questions.

If you are a parent of a child with a hearing loss, here is where you can share your story. Your stories can help other families.

Hello everyone!  Its wonderful to see this page growing.  We are happy to let everyone know that we are in the process of translating the site into Arabic, and we also have a volunteer who is translating the site into Serbian. So, please let families know about EVDC!
