Thank you to everyone who came to last Monday's mission.  We hope the pizza was an acceptable reward for locating the Skalny Room.  Next mission is your opportunity to become a karaoke superSTAR.  If that sounds like music to your ears, then join us for STARaoke in the Bamboo Room at 19:00 on Monday, April 20th.

Before then, STAR will be running Artemis: Spaceship Bridge Simulator at Tora-Con this weekend.  If you are attending Tora-Con and would like to help run Artemis, please indicate your availability at goo.gl/ZMWqOw.

The following weekend, we will be hosting STARfest in the SAU/Campus Center on April 25th.  If you are interested in running a panel at STARfest, please fill out the panel application goo.gl/boZZF8 BY TONIGHT.  If you are interested in helping run STARfest, please fill out the volunteer application at goo.gl/GxduMn as soon as possible.  In addition, you can *help fund STARfest stretch goals*—including *STARs Against Humanity*—at gofundme.com/STARfest.

Finally, STAR is planning to go see Avengers: Age Of Ultron the week it comes out.  If you are interested in seeing it with us, please fill out the form at goo.gl/PQDyuV.

STAR book club will not meet next Monday.  They are to finish The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy for the following Monday.

April Fool's!

Sorry to disappoint those of you who were looking forward to our Game Of Thrones recap.  Instead, next week we will get an earful from RIT Ukulele Club and STAR member Kyle Flores as we explore a major facet of sci-fi features: the music and sound.  In this mission we'll listen to and deconstruct iconic pieces from sci-fi new and old.  *If you like the tune of that, join us on Monday, April 6th at 19:00 in SAU 1829!*  On another note, if you have pieces of music from sci-fi you'd like to deconstruct or listen to, feel free to send them to Kyle (kyle.mflores@gmail.com) or bring it up at the mission!

The STAR book club will discuss the end of Timeline the hour before the mission.

In addition, Anime Club and STAR will be hosting STARbound Anime Night in the Bamboo Room on Sunday, April 14th where they will be screening Cowboy Bebop

Hey, everyone!
STARfest tickets are officially going on sale, next week! We will be in the SAU every day leading up til STARfest (save for next Tuesday and Friday and the Monday after that), from 10h00-15h00 (10 AM - 3 PM), and we are looking for volunteers.

Contact me at jks2819@rit.edu if you are interested in helping out for any of that time on any day. Helping out with STAR stuff helps you gain ranks (wink wink, nudge nudge).

Come hang with the Bridge Crew and help us man the table! PM me if you have any questions.
