Resource Recommendation: Paula Fortier and Marielle Hamon (Saskatchewan Early Learning - Oct 26 presentation on “Using an Inquiry-Based Approach (Reggio Emilia) in Early Childhood French Immersion” ) recommended a Resource called “Black Ants and Buddhists by Mary Cowhey” -review from amazon “A great resource for those that want to start teaching critical thinking and activism in the primary grades. Ms. Cowhey's writing style makes this an enjoyable professional read without feeling like you are reading a professional book. Inspirational!”

Please start filling out agenda topics!

Fort McMurray and ERLC are looking for a local expert who would be willing to travel (by air) to Fort Mc. with the ERLC team to deliver a session on Documentation in the Early Years (linking curriculum to assessments, using the triangulation of data to inform assessments and then using assessments to inform future teaching.

Does anyone know of anyone who might be interested in this? February 2nd. If you do, please contact me at (780) -444-2497

We are wondering if there is a need for an RRST training session at this time of the year? If not, would it be better to have a session like this at the end of the year in preparation for next year? Does anyone know of anyone who could run a session for ERLC? Thanks in advance for any advice or help you can give us.

Good Afternoon! We are setting up the Reggio COP sessions for next year. We would like to host the sessions in schools in the Greater Edmonton area. If you know of a teacher who would be interested in joining the COP and would like a chance to give a tour of their Early Learning spaces please let me know!

We'll be taking down the names in the next week, hoping to get a volunteer site for next fall. (October)
