Hi guys, this is an article I found on aldaily about violence in theater. This article explores the different areas of art and how violence is portrayed. It starts out by noting examples of cruelty in pictures whether it be a movie or a play. Then, it goes deeper to examine whether violence in art is acceptable and how to distinguish between what is right and what is wrong. Some argue that depictions of violence help people stabilize their emotions by creating them in images for them. I have to point out, though, is it really worth it to show violence in such intensity, for something that is made public to all?

The main purpose of this community is to discuss the problems that follow representations of various topics such as violence, beauty, and more, that are shown through media and arts.
