I just found out about guard... playing around with it with phpunit and it works great.

Anyone know if there is a way to get more debug info than --debug gives? My test server will not start after updating Ruby Gems, and I am trying to get more information about the issue.

Is there a way to share tasks between groups?

Context:
We have desktop and mobile teams, and each one deals with the same codebase but with slight differences, so we setup each team in a Guard group, however there are a few tasks that are shared between them and instead of duplicating the entire set of tasks we'd like to share them.

Current Guardfile looks like this:
group :desktop do
  guard 'livereload' do
    watch(%r{desktop/.+\.html})
  end
end

group :mobile do
  guard 'livereload' do
    watch(%r{mobile/.+\.html})
  end
end

# shared tasks?
group :mobile, :desktop do
  guard 'livereload' do
    watch(%r{both/.+\.html})
  end
end

So ideally we'd run guard -g mobile and the mobile set of tasks along with the shared tasks would run.

Is there a way to do this ?

I'm using Zeus, and would love to implement a watcher with Guard that restarts Zeus if things like initializers are changed.  Is there a gem that already does this? I feel like there must be. If not I don't mind rolling my own.

Can guard be run inline within a script (and then exit)?  Or does it have to always be running for it to properly handle registration  / change events?

Looking for a basic article about Guard and it's use cases..Is there anything out there?
