Not sure what happened but while searching for something with the on screen keyboard in the Amazon app, my remote quit working on my 2017 shield TV, and even after changing batteries it's remaining unresponsive. Do these things tend to up and die? I tried restarting and re-pairing and it won't pair at all.

Android TV needs a sleep scheduler built in to the OS. I'd much rather set my sleep and wake schedule on the Android TV operating system as opposed to my TV set. This is because my TV set loses the configuration when it is unplugged. How about you all?

Can't turn on SHIELD via Google Home anymore
I always turn on my Nvidia Shield by saying "Ok Google, turn on the Shield" to any Google Home in my house (or assistant on my phone) and it turns on. And I also tell it to turn off and it turns off.
But for the past week, when I tell it to turn on/off, Google Home responds "There was an error. Please try again later."
Shield has been rebooted, no app updates, Google Homes have been rebooted. Not sure what is up.
Anyone else have similar issues?

- ability to restart from the quick settings section
- ability to sleep the device (even when inside an app) by pressing home and back together
- return of the Nvidia share service by holding the home button (once enabled in the settings)
