Upcoming Deadlines for NEEF Funding Opportunities:

Applications for 2018 Hands on the Land Mini-Grants (https://www.neefusa.org/resource/2018-hands-land-mini-grants-program) are due by 11:59pm EST, Thursday, March 1.

The National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF), in partnership with PRE (Partners in Resource Education) will award a total of $65,000 to Hands on the Land (link is external) (HOL) Network sites to support their efforts to deliver high-quality placed-based environmental education and STEM programming that is aligned with national K-12 education standards.

The RecycleCT Foundation is pleased to announce a request for proposals for
its Innovation Grant Program. *Proposals are due March 28, 2018, 5:00pm
EST*. Proposals are only accepted by email: RecycleCT1@gmail.com Subject
line should state: Innovation Grant Application

The goal of the Innovation Grant Program is to fund new and innovative
processes, programs, or demonstration projects in the areas of waste
reduction, reuse, recycling and composting in Connecticut. The Innovation
Grant targets sustainable materials management initiatives that advance
local, regional, or statewide knowledge and participation in building
sustainable alternatives for materials otherwise destined for disposal.

The RecycleCT Foundation, Inc. targets and promotes the coordination and
support of research and education activities and public information
programs aimed at increasing the rate of recycling and reuse in the state.

Grants <http://www.recyclect.com/grants.html> programs are designed to help
fund efforts that foster greater understanding of and promote action and
engagement in waste reduction, reuse, recycling and composting in
Connecticut.

Two National Environmental Ed Foundation Grants available! A $1,000 grant to put on a BioBlitz (https://www.neefusa.org/resource/2018-usfs-bioblitz-grant) and a $3,000 grant to carry out a pollinator garden or community garden (https://www.neefusa.org/resource/2018-usfs-pollinatorcommunity-garden-grant). Both are due Feb 26th. If you have any questions or want to bounce any ideas off us, feel free to contact us.
